Welcome Event

Wasn't the Welcome Event a great way to end your first week of school? I know we were excited to have both the U.S. students and international students together for some great events and tasty pizza. We hope that you not only were able to make friends with your partner but also other BRIDGE members as well.
Event Planning and Dessert Potluck
Wednesday, September 9th, 2009.
Remember to bring some yummy food for our dessert potluck this uesday. We will also be planning BRIDGE group events. So remember to bring a dish and some ideas for events.
BRIDGE Olympics (Yellow Teams)

Friendly competition between the BRIDGE teams with the help of ALPS! Good job Yellow Teams. It is indeed a fun and exciting BRIDGE Olympics Games!
Ice Skating & Dinner @ Nam’s Noodles (Orange Team)
Wednesday, October 14th, 2009.
We had over 40 people show up for the ice skating event. It was a good mix of U.S and International partners as well as some outside International students. People started trickling in around 6:00pm to socialize and enjoy some hot chocolate. Ice skating was a new experience for many of the international students and it was really great to be able to teach them how to skate. Afterwards about 25 of us went to Nam’s noodle for dinner! We were able to get a karaoke room, maybe next time! The food was very tasty though. It was a nice event and a good break from the stress and studying many of our members are currently experiencing.
