About MFIS

Madison Friends of International Students, Inc. (MFIS) is a non-profit organization of volunteers from the Madison area who befriend and help UW-Madison international students, scholars and their families. MFIS provides a variety of services and programs aimed at making the time in Madison more enjoyable for members of the UW’s international community. MFIS does not undertake any liability with respect to participants (volunteers or international community) in any service or program that it supports.

Details of current available programs supported by MFIS can be viewed at the Programs Section. To help further, MFIS has compiled a guide to area resources in the Resources Section.

If you are interested in getting involved in helping Madison's international community, please check the Volunteer Section
